ABOUT ME

Hi!  I'm Mira. I grew up in Durham, North Carolina, where my love of theater was sparked by watching a middle school production of Something's Afoot at Durham School of the Arts, where I later went to high school.

I moved to Massachusetts, where I got my undergrad degree in African and African American Studies at Brandeis University. After graduating, I moved to New York City to pursue my love of acting, pizza, and bagels.

​

In 2021, I moved to Chicago to get an MFA at The Theatre School at DePaul University.  Sadly, my move to Chicago has greatly jeopardized my access to decent pizza and bagels.  On the bright side, pursuing my masters, turned me into a confident and skilled artist and actor.

I'm passionate about making art that will put a smile on your face, art that will make you think, and art that will make you love.

​

When I'm not acting, I might be baking, traveling, decorating and redecorating my apartment, or aggressively snuggling my two perfect cats.
